Screencasting Assignment Kahoot Lesson:
For the screencasting assignment I chose to create a video on how to create a Kahoot. A Kahoot is a free online tool that engages students and makes learning more fun. I plan to use Kahoot in my future classroom when I become a teacher because when I was in grade school we didn't have many fun opportunities to learn and I felt kahoot was one thing that caught my attention and made me want to learn and I hope my future students will feel the same way. Kahoot is very helpful because it isn't limited to one subject, you can create one on anything. I also hopes this video helps someone else who is looking for a fun way to engage their students.
Movie Assignment:
For my movie assignment I chose to do it on my senior class trip to Disney World in Florida. One reason why I chose to do my senior trip is because it one of the best experiences of my life so far. When teaching I think my students could benefit from learning how to make a movie because they could add their own personality into it I think using different methods of teaching is what makes learning successful so it's good to have visuals as well as written tools. Movie maker is a great tool to incorporate in teaching and will help have your students become more involved and creative.
PowerPoint Game
Powtoon Assignment:
For my Powtoon assignment I chose to do it on a list of classroom rules. One reason why I chose to do classroom rules is because when you stand in front of little kids and speak at them, they will lose focus very easily. Another reason why I chose to do classroom rules is because I could incorporate pictures and movements for the kids to observe. I think using different methods of teaching is what makes learning successful so it's good to have visuals as well as written tools. Powtoon is a great tool incorporate in teaching and will hold your students attention better than some other tools.
Interactive PowerPoint:
For the interactive PowerPoint I chose to do mine about planets. As a future educator i thought this was a great way to have student become engaged and learn quickly about the planets instead of being lectured to. This is a great tool to know how to do and I plan to use this one day in my classroom. My favorite part about it is that the teacher does not have to go back and forth every time a new student comes up to the computer.
